Review of TrimRoomsAs a wildlife conservationist and safari guide based in Nairobi, I often analyze hospitality experiences from both a value and ethical standpoint. The hotel's location is advantageous, being in close proximity to Katra station, which proved convenient for my family and me. Although touted as a luxury option, we faced challenges that diminished its value. The rooms were spacious and equipped with basic amenities such as a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi; however, cleanliness issues marred our experience. Despite requesting washed towels and bed linens multiple times, housekeeping fell short. The cash-only payment policy was particularly frustrating, especially when staff refused to issue a GST bill, raising concerns about compliance with local regulations. While the hotel provided airport shuttle services for an additional cost, it felt disproportionate given the overall service quality. While TrimRooms does offer a certain level of comfort and convenience, potential guests may want to explore other options that balance the luxury experience with a more reliable commitment to service and ethical practices. A focused search can yield better value for one's investment.
